The Butte PBA is a group of ordinary Butte County neighbors who help each other get good fire on the ground. We share burn equipment, advice, trainings, and work, and we meet up to prep and burn each others' burn units. Whether you are looking to burn to reduce fire danger, enhance native flora and wildlife, control invasive weeds, or simply understand your land better, come join us to learn tricks of the trade and "get your fire eyes"! We welcome experienced burners and newbies, landowners and students, mountain people and flatlanders and everybody in between.
