Yosemite Gateway Prescribed Burn Cooperative
Mariposa and Madera Counties
We are a group of local landowners, agency partners, and other community members in Mariposa and Madera Counties that conduct prescribed burns on private lands. We bring people together to conduct prescribed burns by pooling resources; assisting with planning, permitting, prep work, and implementation, and providing training opportunities and resources.
We welcome everyone to join, from those that are experienced fire practitioners to those that have never picked up a drip torch before.
